The police car parked by the roadside. About twenty minutes later, Arnold received a call from Russell and drove over alone.
After getting into the back seat, Arnold saw the blonde beauty T-X had transformed into. His expression darkened slightly as he frowned. "Mr. Russell, you gave another machine life?"
"Yes. She's a T-X Terminator, more advanced than both you and the T-1000."
After explaining briefly, Russell continued, "Skynet has been sending robot assassins far too frequently. I'll keep T-X by my side to monitor all of New York, in case even more advanced robots appear."
"You've gone to a lot of trouble. Actually, lately I..."
Hearing that Russell intended to keep T-X close, Arnold raised his brows but said nothing. He changed the subject and began talking about the Cybertron Company he had recently acquired.
Skynet's emergence could not be stopped, so Arnold had taken a different approach—seizing control of it at the source. He had also worked hard to facilitate cooperation with America's Department of Defense, monitoring Skynet's birth and development, prepared to personally inject a virus and destroy it if necessary.
To outsiders, this banker had invested a massive sum in the computer industry and was preparing to make a major move.
"You really didn't need to do this. I told you long ago that even if Skynet gained intelligence, it wouldn't be able to launch a nuclear war and destroy the world."
At that, Russell glanced at T-X. "Stop spacing out. Tell him why you came back from the future."
Dressed in a black women's suit, T-X sat silently in the passenger seat. After gaining life, she had spent some time in shock, beginning to contemplate the meaning of her birth and existence.
