Why was this silly boy's focus always different from everyone else's?
Russell grumbled inwardly and said disdainfully, "So inexperienced. A'e doesn't have a litt—"
"Cough, cough, cough!"
A'e clenched her fist and coughed desperately, the corner of her eye twitching as she looked at Russell. "Sun God, mind your words. Even for the sake of your own dignity, you should act more solemnly and maturely."
"Fine, fine. I'll listen to you, old lady, and be solemn and mature."
Russell crossed his hands beneath his nose, leaned forward slightly, lowered his head, and fixed Perseus with a piercing stare. A cold glint flashed in his half-lidded eyes.
Darkness descended upon the Temple of the Sun God, casting Russell half in light and half in shadow.
A chilling aura rose around him. A'e subconsciously swallowed, thinking this was how it should be. This was the true bearing of a god.
And, for some reason, her heart was beating a little faster.
