Darkness descended upon the earth!
Pitch-black clouds churned violently like a tidal wave, energy boiling within them as strange red lightning twisted through the sky. Deafening peals of thunder carried an oppressive weight down to the ground.
The demon army halted its charge and looked up at the sky. The once-azure heavens had gone utterly dark.
At the center, an enormous column of black smoke roiled endlessly before diving toward the ground amid thunderous rumbling.
Within the darkness, a pair of red eyes slowly opened. What descended was not merely darkness, but a demon god that commanded it.
The demon army sensed the arrival of the dark aura. The demon generals and Demon Saints were no exception. Seeing that the pitch-black figure was not one of their own, they immediately abandoned the Olympus gods before them, withdrew, and vanished into the boundless demon army.
The Dark Demon God plunged down from high above. Seeing the broken Mount Olympus and the chaotic battlefield amid the shattered mountain range, he was instantly shocked.
"What happened? What did we miss?"
Hecate and Athena hid within the Demon God's body. Looking at the violently turbulent mountain range, both were horrified. Athena said in disbelief, "Zeus... Zeus's divine power has dissipated... Could he... have fallen?"
"Impossible!" x2
Russell and Hecate denied it at the same time.
"Zeus survived the ten-year Titanomachy and the chaos Typhon brought to Mount Olympus. His mind is sharper than anyone's. How could he just die like that?"
After speaking, Hecate suddenly noticed that Russell, who was on the same side as her, had fallen silent. She looked at him in confusion. "What's wrong? Say something!"
"Uh, whether Zeus is dead or not is hard to say, but based on what you just said, I think Poseidon might still be alive."
