Originally, Athena had not wanted to come. From what she knew of Russell, although his words and actions were absurdly outrageous, he was actually someone who cherished old bonds. Barring any surprises, Artemis would become Queen of Heaven.
But Artemis had been far too quiet in the hall today. She showed no intention of competing for the position of Queen of Heaven and had even cast her vote for Hestia.
Athena marveled at how deeply Artemis loved Russell and how astonishingly quickly she had matured. Then she began to feel uneasy.
If Russell did not choose Artemis, then it could only be her or Hestia. A fifty-fifty chance was far too terrifying. She feared she would be forcibly married off tomorrow.
It was not because she was overly narcissistic. When Russell had helped forge her battle armor, his hands had wandered. Even now, he still harbored improper thoughts, so she had no choice but to stay on guard.
