Stared at directly by Unit-01's two bizarre eyeballs, the driver inside Obsidian Vengeance nearly pissed himself. Whether it was the regenerating arm, the halo, or the holy Wings of Light, all of it showed that the Unit-01 before him had completely gone berserk.
No, it had awakened completely. It had skipped the berserk stage altogether and was practically becoming a god!
"Crazy!"
"The guy who exchanged for this Unit-01 has to be insane! Isn't being alive good enough?"
The driver of Obsidian Vengeance cursed nonstop. Couldn't they talk this out? It was only one arm. Did it have to end with everyone dying together?
There was no testing the waters to see if he could win. The driver immediately turned tail and ran.
But the next second, a blur flashed before him, and Unit-01 blocked his path.
Watching Unit-01's mouth open and close, the driver felt a chill wind sweep over him. It was as if a hole had opened beneath his feet, and coldness instantly flooded his entire body.
Without thinking, he controlled Obsidian Vengeance on instinct. The laser generator on its chest lit up, and a golden beam shot straight at Unit-01.
As the beam approached, Unit-01 swung its right hand and shattered it with one strike.
The next second, its body vanished from where it stood. When it reappeared, it was already above Obsidian Vengeance's head.
The driver of Obsidian Vengeance was highly experienced. In a crisis, his hands moved faster than his brain. He raised both arms to defend himself while stabbing upward with the chain sword in his left hand.
Unit-01 kicked the chain sword away in midair. As it fell, both feet landed on Obsidian Vengeance's shoulders. It crouched with the momentum, reached down with both hands, and clamped tightly onto Obsidian Vengeance's arms.
