The latter assumed a defensive stance, calculating Unit-01's speed. Its left-hand chain sword slashed straight out while its right hand remained in defense, guarding against Unit-01 suddenly stopping and slowing down.
The instant they made contact, Unit-01 stomped the ground, shattering the concrete beneath its feet. It leaped up and vaulted over Obsidian Vengeance's head.
After landing, Unit-01 rolled twice to bleed off the force, then rose and used its momentum to launch into a high-speed charge, pursuing Evil Python Bunaji in the direction it had fled.
What happened to the promised one-on-one?
Obsidian Vengeance was clearly stunned. Holding up its two humming, vibrating chain swords, it stood there awkwardly.
