"So you need it. It works much better than goji berries or anything like that."
Kang Xi patted Russell on the shoulder, looking as though she understood perfectly. After all, with Supergirl... Russell's simple, dull daily life had to be pretty tough.
What a joke. Was he someone who needed goji berries?
Russell scoffed inwardly. Kang Xi thought she knew everything, but she didn't know shit.
Not to brag, but a weakling like Kang Xi would be crying her eyes out within minutes.
"Hey, are you even listening to me?"
Guan Yin had been yammering on and on, only to notice Russell and Kang Xi whispering to each other. Mu Xinxin held her forehead, looking like she could not be bothered to hear another word, and immediately spoke up in irritation, feeling as if she had wasted her breath.
"We heard you."
"Everything you said was right."
"Exactly."
Russell nodded solemnly and summed up, "That name, Kaiju, sounds incredibly intimidating!"
"Quit making dirty jokes. It should be my turn this time, right?"
Guan Yin squeezed in beside the driver's seat and looked down at Russell from above, trying to create an air of superiority.
Russell could only see half her face. He leaned back slightly to see her clearly, only for the back of his head to suddenly bump against the Golden Armor, followed by a smack.
"Pah! Pervert! What are you rubbing against?"
Russell: (-_-)
At least come up with a better excuse when framing someone. What was there to rub against on the Golden Armor?
He curled his lips, too lazy to argue. His gaze swept past the circling helicopters, ignored the broadcasts in various languages, and turned toward the vast ocean.
Amid flashes of lightning and peals of thunder, four colossal creatures were fighting in the waves.
