Background / History

Supergirl originated as a fear-generated duplicate during the Bronze Civilization Ruins incident. The ruins used Ying Yingying's fear of Supergirl to create her, while creating a duplicate of Russell from Jason's fear. She inherited Supergirl's memories and physical abilities, making her difficult for Shen Menghan's teammates to distinguish from their captain. 339 865

The clone fought seven Reincarnators in the ruins and overwhelmed most conventional attacks through her speed, Steel Body, and regeneration. Russell's group eventually infected her with Evil Energy and a zombie virus; the corruption spread through her Kryptonian physiology, impaired her judgment, and transformed her appearance. Russell ultimately petrified her with the Petrifying Eye Skill Card. 339 342 344

Although she could have resisted the petrification, she recognized Russell's identity and chose not to struggle, effectively accepting death. Russell later preserved her statue in his personal space. 865

During the Terror Cruise time-loop mission, Russell revived her with a Monster Reborn card. With her memories still hazy and ending at the time of her petrification, she questioned her status as a clone but agreed to help Russell escape the Cube Dimension. 865 866

After her revival, Supergirl accompanied Russell through several mission worlds. She fought the Human Torch, the Silver Surfer, Galactus, a Zerg warship, Rodan, and King Ghidorah, while repeatedly confronting the complications caused by meeting Shen Menghan, her original counterpart. 870 873 879 892 893 901
