The two people who had snuck in were Dr. Dora from the Life Foundation and down-and-out journalist Eddie Brock.
Dr. Dora was a senior researcher hired by the Life Foundation, an important member of a specialized team. Having signed a confidentiality agreement, she knew everything about the alien symbiote research projects.
That included human experimentation.
Large numbers of homeless people no one cared about had died due to incompatibility with the symbiotes, yet the Life Foundation's upper management turned a blind eye. Not only did they treat human lives as worthless, they intensified the cruel experiments.
Dr. Dora could not accept this, but the agreement prevented her from exposing it herself, so she specifically sought out the unemployed journalist Eddie Brock.
Eddie Brock was an interesting character. The reporter in the old Spider-Man 3 was him, and he was destined to share an inseparable bond with Venom.

In the plot of Venom: Lethal Protector, Eddie had originally lived in New York. Due to a bad source, he identified the wrong criminal suspect, became infamous, and was driven out of New York.
The movie did not explain the specific reason, but thinking of Spider-Man 3 made it hard not to let one's imagination run wild.
In short, Eddie Brock disliked Peter Parker, and Venom hated Spider-Man. Put the two together, and when facing Spider-Man, their combat power doubled through hatred.
Putting aside the comics and the old movie, Eddie Brock in Venom: Lethal Protector was a journalist with a sense of justice, but also a deeply conflicted man.

Call him brave,
