The infiltration plan went very smoothly. It could be said that it ended as soon as it began.

Parker's plan had been to infiltrate through Fisk Tower. There were plenty of waiters and security personnel dressed as Spider-Man at the charity gala, perfect cover for their operation.

Then Miles provided some intelligence: beneath Brooklyn lay abandoned subway tunnels that led straight to the bottom of Fisk Tower, to the giant laboratory housing the Super Collider.

Last time, Miles had wandered into the experimental site through this shortcut. Parker had saved his life, and Miles had then witnessed Parker being beaten to death.

"Hey, why would there be a subway route leading there?"

Middle-aged Parker stroked his chin. Such an important large-scale experimental base had to be heavily guarded, and the surrounding terrain would have been repeatedly surveyed during construction.

Now Miles was suddenly telling them not to overthink it—the laboratory was connected in all directions, and they could take the subway straight there.
