The original Hell Dimension had exploded, scattering countless fragments throughout the multiverse. Many Hell Kings then claimed them, becoming the masters of individual Hell Dimensions.
Within their own universes, they were unquestionable "Satans." But here, on this largest fragment of the Hell Dimension, they were collectively called Hell Lords or Hell Kings. Anyone who dared call himself Satan would be attacked by all and torn to pieces.
Originally, Russell could not understand why three multiversal big shots—the Crimson Dominator Cyttorak, the underworld god Chthon, and the eye demon Shuma-Gorath—were interested in the title of Satan, nor why they were willing to stand on equal footing with a group of single-universe Hell Kings.
Now, he roughly understood why. Before it was shattered, the Hell Dimension should have been called the Hell Universe, existing independently outside the multiverse like the Crimson Universe.
In other words, becoming the Lord of Hell and obtaining Satan's authority would immediately elevate one's life level to the multiversal tier, making one a genuine great demon god.
The temptation of ascending to heaven in a single step was too great for the single-universe Hell Kings to refuse. And multiversal big shots like Cyttorak, Chthon, and Shuma-Gorath would not mind taking their power a step further either.
Even if they truly were powerful enough to possess limitless might and inexhaustible strength, utterly unconcerned with the title of Satan.
