The intricate underground network formed Gotham City's subterranean infrastructure, like the veins and arteries beneath a person's skin, endlessly pumping blood to ensure the body's health and vitality.

Just like now, under Jason's lead, Russell and Bruce turned a corner and passed from the drainage system into the rail system. Another turn later, passages surrounded them on all sides, as if they had entered an anthill.
