The first Team Battle had taken place against the backdrop of Final Destination. The second had involved searching for the exit to a civilization's ruins on Skull Island. The third had been Infinity War set against the backdrop of the Jumanji board game. All had followed this pattern.

Although the details differed every time, the general idea was the same: create conflicts, raise poisonous insects in a jar, and make the Reincarnators kill each other until only those who successfully completed the mission remained.
