The red light tore through the air with a piercing howl. Supergirl converted stellar energy, her eyes glowing crimson as she unleashed Heat Vision at full power.
Galactus sensed the attack from behind. While defending against Russell's ferocious assault, he turned sideways and raised an arm, spreading his five fingers to retaliate with cosmic rays.
The two beams of light collided, erupting in a dazzling flash. A white sphere of energy compressed at the center, blooming into a blinding shockwave.
The clouds were violently blown apart, waves of air rolled outward, and Mars's Mediterranean Sea worsened by another third.
Supergirl's attack missed. Far away... she casually followed up with a savage charge, clasping her fists together and driving her elbow forward as she slammed straight into Galactus's lower back.
With a crisp metallic clang, several delayed whirlwinds swept in every direction. Supergirl could not break Galactus's armor and was sent flying by the rebounding force.
Galactus's eyes bulged. His back straightened, his steps staggered, and his massive body stumbled several paces forward before he could stop.

Russell, who had been waiting for this, swung an arm and charged forward. As he passed Galactus, he hooked his arm around his neck. At the same time, four huge hands emerged from the molten ground, gripping Galactus's left and right ankles in pairs.
Galactus reached forward and grabbed at empty air. His massive body tilted back and crashed into the red-hot current with a thunderous boom.
