The stone was only slightly larger than a fist. Its surface was covered in uneven pits and depressions that did not appear to have been formed by artificial hammering, but rather seemed naturally created. It also glimmered faintly with an oily sheen.
Shen Luo reached out for the black stone. The instant it touched his hand, he felt a wave of icy power emanating from it. When he tried to lift it, he discovered that it was unexpectedly heavy, so much so that he nearly dropped it in a moment of carelessness.
"So heavy," Shen Luo said in surprise.
Hearing this, Nie Caizhu grew curious as well and reached out to take it, only to be startled too...
"What kind of stone is this? How can it be so heavy?" Nie Caizhu asked in astonishment.
"I don't know. I've never seen it before, nor have I read about it in any books. But strange objects often come with strange phenomena. It's probably no ordinary item..." Shen Luo trailed off, suddenly pausing.
