Kanrongpa stood on the long steps of the Grand Temple, gazing up at the sky with a grim expression. At last, he stopped hesitating and turned back toward the hall. He had walked this corridor countless times, and within moments, he reached the god statue.

"My lord, great Lord of Nature, please hear my prayer..." He began to pray, his clear voice falling softly into the hall.

The black sun radiated light. Countless streams of positive energy shot out of it, the powerful energy churning in flames of myriad shapes, some like fountains, others like vines.

In an instant, a point burst open, and vast quantities of energy surged into a torrent.

At the center of the sun, within a tremendous vortex, stood a cluster of palaces. Inside one of them, a great dragon bound by countless chains roared in fury.

"Those damned angels have come again! I'll kill every last one of them!"

Then it roared furiously again. "That damned fruit! If only I could control it! Damn it, why do I feel its restraints getting stronger?"

Bound by the chains, the Black Dragon, which had wanted to struggle free and deal the angels a lethal blow, had no choice but to retreat in frustration. Its voice naturally carried its anger.

The chains wrapped densely around its body had already cut into its skin, and they shimmered with sacred light. In truth, they were not merely its shackles, but also the source of its power.

Black and red power constantly intertwined, striking to behold and deeply uncanny.
