That dusk was deafening and frenzied.

Where the Angels had descended, battle cries rang out everywhere. Their relentless assaults and slaughter continued, while the gods and soldiers of the various territories formed a wall of flesh and blood, fighting desperately to resist.

Some did surrender, but every one of them was immediately cut down.

The Angels had been ordered to kill all False Gods, hostile troops, and priests.

"Then let us perish together!" Countless Angels attacked a god who was already covered in wounds, madness showing on his face.

At that commanding voice, the god's body trembled. In an instant, he discovered to his utter astonishment that he was beginning to lose control of his own body.

"Aaah!" With a roar, the False God enveloped in that holy light evaded the attacks of the Angels around him.

Yet what was happening to him now filled him with even greater terror.

"No!" In that instant, all his divine power vanished. The youthful body of the young man suspended in midair rapidly aged.

Still in the air, his skin became covered in wrinkles, his blond hair turned white, and his eyes grew cloudy.
