Sunshine filled the Shennong Horn Space, bathing everything in golden radiance.
Spring swiftly spread throughout the space. The vast expanse created by the last upgrade gave all the plants and animals more room and soil in which to thrive.
The trees were lush, and grass had spread across the open ground. No trace remained of the barren land created by the last upgrade.
"Master!" Romon's sudden appearance made several Tree Spirits watering the newly planted orchard stop and bow to him together.
"Go back to your work. I have something to take care of here," Romon said, waving a hand.
"Yes, Master." The Tree Spirits promptly withdrew.
With a somewhat gloomy expression, Romon walked slowly onward, turning the matter over in his mind one last time.
...I couldn't have mistaken that presence. It was indeed the Lord of Radiance's... but why would this happen? Why have angels descended upon the Mist Plane? Romon searched his memories as he pondered.
Only one record? The information he found concerned legends of angel sightings in the Mist World. Finding it was practically no different from finding nothing; its contents were far too sparse. After reading it, Romon felt discouraged.
"It seems I can't retrieve anything useful from my memories!" Romon approached the World Tree. After a moment's hesitation, he reached out and touched it.
An unfathomable presence flowed toward him, and several fragments flashed past in an instant.
Through the World Tree, Romon finally received the messages sent from the Mist World over the past few days.
"...My Lord, I am your most faithful believer, Kanrongpa. Today is the third day since the Angel Legion descended upon this world. The land is already ablaze with war. According to the reports I have received, dozens of territories have fallen into war and chaos. The
