This was a vast hall.
Magic lamps hung from the lofty dome, casting bright yet gentle light below.
In the center of the hall stood a low platform built up in tiers, dividing the hall into two sections.
Below was where the Intermediate Druids stood. Above were rows of seats, with Romon's chairman's throne at the highest, central position.
The seats to either side were occupied by the two vice chairmen, while the elders' seats lay below them.
At this moment, a storm was beginning to sweep through this hall that had always carried Nature's Aura.
More than a hundred people had gathered in the conference hall, all of them Guild backbones. Above sat over a dozen elders, while Intermediate Druids stood below. Without exception, every one of them was deep in thought, pondering an important question.
For a time, the conference hall was so silent one could hear a pin drop.
Archdruid Desika, who was presiding over the meeting, cleared his throat and successfully drew everyone's attention back to himself.
"Everyone, that is the situation. Our chairman has now become a god, possessing the right and ability to spread a faith. What are your thoughts on this?" Desika did his best to keep both his mood and expression calm. His gaze swept across those present as he asked in the mildest tone possible.
Yet everyone his gaze passed over lowered their heads as if avoiding it, continuing to ponder the matter. Not one person took the initiative to speak.
Seeing this, Archdruid Desika could only give a bitter smile. This situation had been within his expectations.
