The sea rippled with emerald waves.

More than ten warships sped across the sea, startling countless seabirds into flight.

Every warship flew colorful flags from full masts. Above the main flagship's mast hung a banner bearing a crown, declaring this fleet to be the Royal Navy.

The other warships carried naval soldiers, while the main flagship held, besides its soldiers, a special guest: a female friend of Baron Romon, lord of Tatshaw Territory.

Other than Romon, no one in the fleet knew the beautiful lady's identity. Everyone found it rather strange that she had been allowed aboard a warship.

However, this world had no custom forbidding women from boarding ships. There were quite a few female priests, Druids, and Knights, all indispensable aids in battle. Thus, the beautiful lady's presence aboard did not draw too much attention.
