"Please summon Nick, Fafier, Knight Vavik, and Scholar Lurun," Romon said to a trusted attendant outside as he opened the door.
"Yes, my lord." The attendant left to carry out his orders.
Watching him leave, Romon sighed softly. He truly did not want to leave his territory at a time like this. Everything was flourishing, the island was under construction, and his two wives and adorable children needed him more than ever. Yet he had no choice. Only by accepting his punishment could he spare his territory and family further trouble.
Before leaving, Romon intended to summon the central officials currently managing the territory's main affairs: the four men he trusted most—Nick, Fafier, Scholar Lurun, and Vavik.
He would gather them and arrange the territory's affairs and direction for the next seven years.
Some of his other trusted subordinates had been assigned to local posts, while others handled individual tasks. At present, only these four men were responsible for affairs concerning the whole of Tatshaw Territory.
Nick handled domestic administration. Fafier's role in the territory had actually diminished, but he remained one of the key figures in its armed forces.
Vavik commanded the territory's entire Knight Order.
Scholar Lurun managed its diplomatic and legal affairs.
With these four men present, Tatshaw Territory would not fall into serious disorder even while Romon was away. Still, he needed to give them instructions and temporarily entrust his territory to them.
Thus, around midnight, the men hurried to the Viscount's villa and took their seats in the hall to hear Romon's instructions. According to reliable information, the order concerning his punishment would reach Tatshaw Territory the following day. Once it arrived, he would not even have time to collect his belongings, let alone hold a meeting. The officials would make him leave the territory
