May 20th, as spring gave way to summer.
The town ravaged by the Demon Calamity had finally regained its liveliness.
Brand-new wooden houses and careful planning had restored the town's youthful vigor, while its unchanged roads—the tiny fragments of bluestone—still told of its long and distant history.
The walls over two meters high surrounding the town, along with the arrow towers, added a trace of war.
Romon walked slowly onward. Not far beyond the town lay the mountains and forests.
Within the forests stood countless lush canopies, green and flourishing, and Romon suddenly sensed a rich Nature's Aura.

Loni's gaze followed it as well. She only felt that it was an ordinary-looking yet ever eye-catching back. Simply looking at it brought an indescribable feeling into her heart, as though every gesture and movement of this person blended perfectly and harmoniously with the surrounding world.
Far from where Miss Sasha and the others stood, an ordinary-looking carriage was parked by the roadside. That man finally boarded it, and the carriage began moving toward someplace farther away.
Above that carriage, an enormous eagle circled continuously, unforgettable to any who saw it.
Dappled shadows lay across the road. The carriage gradually vanished into the distance, emerald trees gently swayed their branches, and the hoofbeats faded farther and farther away.
"Miss, are we really just letting him leave like this?
