In his hand was a compiled report of the provocations outside forces had directed against the Church that month.
It contained news concerning their Church, and by the time it reached him, only the most important reports remained.
His only possible reaction to what he read was anger.
Despite its splendor, the palace contained only a few simple furnishings, leaving it somewhat empty. This only made the exquisite patterns on its inner walls stand out all the more, along with the furious expressions of the High-Level Priests standing on its polished floor.
Their faces were solemn, their eyes glinting with an icy chill.
As High-Level Priests of the Radiance Church in this region, they had reached the limits of their patience with the Shavigo Kingdom's Royal House after more than a year of provocations.
"Archbishop, it is one thing for the people of this country not to believe in our Lord, but now even the members of the Royal House, led by the queen herself, dare to disrespect him. This is simply intolerable!" One High-Level Priest finally lost patience and spoke first.
