Mages' Guild
Mage Kexi only had to raise his head slightly to see it.
However, rather than calling it the Mages' Guild, it was more accurate to say it was an area formed around Mage Towers.
Four Mage Towers stood tall at the four corners, representing the four elements that made up this world. Various buildings surrounded them—residences, ordinary libraries, reception halls, study rooms, and the like.
All of these buildings were made of stone.
Mage Kexi stopped and carefully observed his surroundings.
Under Arcane Vision, he quickly discovered the faint glow representing magical fluctuations within the Mages' Guild.
Sure enough, every Mages' Guild was exactly the same!
"Hello, Mage Kexi!" the stone Golem greeted him in a stiff tone.
Mage Kexi gave a slight nod and entered the mages' reception hall.
The reception hall was actually a collection of connected, similar buildings. One of them felt much like a tavern, except it did not sell hard liquor, offering at most low-alcohol drinks such as wine.
Sofas, tea tables, and music created an atmosphere like that of a salon. The apprentices on duty served wine or tea to the distinguished mages.
The mages were engaged in a heated discussion.
One mage spotted Mage Kexi and hurriedly called out, "Mage Kexi, you have already been to Tatshaw Territory. Do you know the situation?"
"Mage Maoweisen, I do."
"Then come see whether the basic conclusions we discussed are correct," Mage Maoweisen said eagerly.
Several mages stepped aside and made a path.
What appeared was unexpectedly a sand table. In truth, once sand tables had emerged, they had first drawn the military's attention, followed by the mages'. Drawing inferences from one instance, mages had already developed a great many uses for them.
