"Ten percent off magical items."

"Allow Mage Towers to train their own mages, with recognition from the Mages' Guild."

"Allow the copying of mage materials below Third Level."

These three conditions led Romon to take down the mage's corpse and hand it over to the Mages' Guild.

After that came a blanket of silence.

The various Churches fell silent. The kingdom fell silent. The nearby nobles fell silent. Even the distant queen fell silent.

In the blink of an eye, it was September.

The weather had been excellent these past few days. Beneath the azure sky, thin white clouds occasionally dragged long tails across the heavens, sketching beautiful patterns. Golden sunlight spilled over the earth, as if stirring an echo; vast fields shimmered with gold like a rolling golden sea.

It was already September in this world. The wind had begun to carry a faint chill, though the sunlight was still dazzling. Birds began flying in flocks toward warmer lands, while most plants along the roadsides and out in the wilderness had started to take on a faint yellow hue.

The whole world was transforming toward a beautiful gold. Autumn had arrived in this world.

On the roads of Tatshaw Territory, cart after cart was pushed along by people.

Figures hurried everywhere along the road, yet their faces were filled with joy and excitement. Though they were busy, they were happy.

In the fields, old people stood by the ridges, helping however they could. As long as they lent a hand, smiles bloomed across their faces like flowers.

Young women and old women alike coaxed children along while carrying boxes, either bringing food and water to the men of their families or heading into the fields to work themselves.

Every sun-darkened face was filled with such delight at this moment.
