She raised her head and gazed at the holy Temple. Her eyes flickered, and a thin mist of moisture flowed within her watery gaze.
Whenever she came here, her mood improved.
This was her true home.
After a period of effort, the Temple's followers, once numbering only a little over two hundred throughout the entire city, had gradually increased. Many people liked the tranquil aura of the Fountain and River Goddess.
Princess Qian Niya's lady-in-waiting, Daisenni, felt the same emotion.
Although this Temple was many times smaller than the one in the Royal Capital, compared with the faith officially guided within the Royal Capital—or rather, within the areas controlled by the Royal House—the faith here was undoubtedly far purer.
During the construction of this Fountain and River Goddess's Temple, Count Teta Xiao, the lord of this land, had given them tremendous support and invested a great deal of money.
The entire Fountain and River Goddess's Temple had been built from marble, which could be considered one of its distinctive features.
The Temple was not particularly large, but it had four gushing springs. These were waterways formed after the Temple's completion, and sweet spring water flowed ceaselessly from them, irrigating the entire Temple grounds.
Under this influence, the small gardens and groves grew exceptionally lush.
Saisidi was the goddess of fountains and rivers, and her domain also included the thickets near rivers. Although her Godhood was not high, her history of existence was quite ancient.
She had been born long ago and received
