Romon, who had caused it all, stood quietly where he was, gazing toward the castle with a faint smile. He could already sense that the altar had indeed been completely destroyed in the tremendous explosion.
Not just the altar-even the entire underground palace had been all but destroyed.
The whole castle was now on the verge of collapse. With its foundations ruined, this ancient castle probably would not last much longer.
Now that the destruction of the altar and underground palace was an accomplished fact, Romon stopped watching the castle. Instead, he looked in the direction the local False God had gone, a faint amusement in his eyes. "Your lair is in this state. Surely you'll come back now?"
Far away, the battle had already begun.
The two armies had entered close combat. Every second, someone fell; every instant brought a scream marking the end of a life, filled with pain, despair, and longing for the world they were leaving behind.

Today, he wore a brand-new bishop-grade priestly robe. Great quantities of sacred energy flowed continuously over it, plainly visible.
The robe was scarlet, symbolizing courage and blood. Wearing it made Pope Kanrongpa, already an imposing figure, look even more formidable.
In truth, given the conditions of this world, these False Gods could hardly possess the knowledge and power to create magical items of this kind. Naturally, the bishops serving under them had no way of obtaining robes so richly imbued with sacred energy.
Romon was different. His Shennong Horn Space contained many items from the Main World, and
