Jingyi united the Five Great Shinobi Villages against Madara Uchiha, seized the Rinnegan, and foiled his attempt to recruit him. The villages formed the Allied Shinobi Forces and prepared for war, facing the prospect of Madara’s hundred thousand White Zetsu with only forty thousand elite troops.

• Jingyi briefed Ōnoki, the Third Kazekage, the Third Raikage, and Yagura on Madara Uchiha’s plan to capture the Tailed Beasts and become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, then led them to seize Nagato’s Rinnegan.
• Jingyi used the Tenseigan to keep Nagato alive after breaking the cursed seal on his heart, while Jiraiya took Yahiko and Konan back to Konoha and Madara died after cutting his life-support tubes.
• Jingyi displayed the Rinnegan to the Kage, but Hozuki Mangetsu nearly died when it drained his vitality during a transplant test, so Jingyi removed the eyes and kept them in his custody.
• Black Zetsu revived Madara with the unfinished Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu, and Madara confronted the Kage before declaring war and choosing the Land of Earth as the battlefield.
• Madara tried to recruit Jingyi, but Jingyi rejected him and warned that he could destroy or seal away the Rinnegan, then reported Madara’s declaration of war to Konoha’s leaders.

• The Third Raikage took charge of the recruits, while Jingyi identified Kakuzu among them and told Orochimaru about his heart-stealing technique.
• The Allied Shinobi Forces assembled forty thousand elite combat troops against the hundred thousand White Zetsu Madara was preparing, while ninja from small villages handled transport and logistics.
