Yu Tu arrives at First Prison with his memories largely erased, while Lu Mi tries to uncover why he was accused of treason and keep him close. After Yu Tu’s power and memory loss raise more questions, Lu Mi brings him to Lan Su, the prison’s senior pharmacist, for examination.

• Lu Mi receives Yu Tu at First Prison, assigns him the number 0456, and struggles to control his thirst-driven distress as Yu Tu repeatedly reaches for him.
• Lu Mi learns that Yu Tu’s Diamond-Grade White Vine can heal his wounds, while Rete suspects the planet’s dryness is aggravating his condition.
• During interrogation, Yu Tu denies remembering the alleged treason, and Cang Qi’s Brain Scanner confirms that his memories from before two months ago are inaccessible.
• Cang Qi discovers that Yu Tu’s memories were voluntarily overwritten and that his Energy Crystal was removed, so Lu Mi orders the Energy Lock Rings taken off and keeps the discovery secret.
• Lu Mi arranges for Yu Tu to receive better food and gentler treatment, makes new Energy Lock Rings, and refuses requests to transfer him from First Prison.
• After Yu Tu attacks prison officers who try to change his clothes, Lu Mi removes his rings and fights him privately, then conceals how badly the encounter went and bans further visits.
• Yu Tu punishes himself for his behavior, but Lu Mi comforts him, and Yu Tu explains how the Bean Sprout reflects his emotions and agrees to see a pharmacist.
• Lu Mi takes Yu Tu to the Sky Prison Cell and introduces him to Lan Su, the senior pharmacist, who learns about Yu Tu’s recent memories and asks for his blood to test.

Lu Mi learned about Yu Tu’s lethal drug burden and protected him from a scheme that led to his torture at Second Prison. After rescuing Yu Tu, Lu Mi joined Ming Qiuxue’s rebellion and openly declared his love as Imperial forces and released offenders entered the battle.

• Lan Su discovered a lethal level of Desire Compound in Yu Tu’s blood and told Lu Mi that intercourse could reduce it.
• Yu Tu attacked Ai Mu after Ai Mu demanded sex, and Lu Mi sentenced Yu Tu to Ghoststone Forest before secretly killing the still-living Ai Mu.
• Yi Que lured Lu Mi to Z60 Abandoned Planet while Ming Qiuxue took Yu Tu to Second Prison under an interrogation order.
• Lu Mi killed Yi Que, found Lin Luo, Mo Ke, and Luo Wei alive, and returned to rescue Yu Tu after Tian Chi ordered him tortured.
• Yu Tu healed Lu Mi’s chest wound, and Lu Mi uncovered Peter’s role in the plot and recovered a Slave-Taming Eye from him.
• Lu Mi refused to surrender Yu Tu to Third Prison and agreed to await Ming Qiuxue’s F Plan while Ming Qiuxue was detained.
• Ming Qiuxue rebelled after seeing his parents take their own lives, and Lu Mi led First Prison officers into battle and revealed that he was Lu Xiaojiu.
• Tian Chi brought Imperial reinforcements and released violent offenders against the rebels, while Lu Mi declared his love for Yu Tu and ordered him out of danger.

After escaping Calamity Planet, Lu Mi and Yu Tu reconciled while Freedom Star prepared to fight for independence. They left to recruit the Drifting Desperadoes and arrived at Sinwheel City, where Yu Tu confronted the criminals on his list.

• Yu Tu regained his adult memories, and Lu Mi learned he had accepted the memory overwrite to reach Calamity Planet and find his Little Black Panther.
• Lu Mi and Yu Tu clashed over Yu Tu’s returned memories and his attempt to take a Desire Compound inhibitor, then reconciled after Lu Mi understood their misunderstanding.
• Freedom Star prepared to recruit residents and face the Imperial Army, and Yu Tu volunteered to gather Drifting Desperadoes while Lu Mi insisted on joining him.
• Lu Mi and Yu Tu departed aboard Q16 for P999, with Yu Tu warning Cang Qi that they might lose contact before arriving.
• Lu Mi and Yu Tu landed on P999 and used Yu Tu’s Violet Slaughter Vine to make Sinwheel City summon the fugitives on his list.
• Yu Tu killed a criminal who propositioned Lu Mi, and Lu Mi warned the gathered criminals not to set their sights on him.

Yu Tu and Lu Mi fought Lan Xiao’s forces, won Freedom Star’s independence, and were separated after Yu Tu sacrificed himself to protect the planet. They reunited, and Yu Tu revealed his past and his plans against Lan Xiao as Yan Mei’s actions began to destabilize the Imperial court.

• Yu Tu filled Sinwheel City with Violet Slaughter Vines and forced its criminals to join his attack on the Imperial Army, then defeated Gan Zhun’s forces and declared war on Lan Xiao.
• Yu Tu and Lu Mi rallied the refugees and children of Freedom Star before facing Lan Xiao’s reinforced army at Little Seven Castle.
• Lan Xiao trapped Yu Tu aboard a burning warship, but Yu Tu escaped, sent Lu Mi and the others to safety, and disappeared into space after telling Lu Mi goodbye.
• Yu Tu secretly informed Lu Mi that he was alive, and Freedom Star gained independence as Lu Mi received Yu Tu’s cat teasers and housewarming card.
• Yu Tu reunited with the refugee families, named their protected planet Black Cat Planet, and resolved to turn against Lan Xiao.
• Lu Mi intercepted Yu Tu aboard Black Shark, arrested him, and brought him home, where Yu Tu confessed his love and revealed his injuries and missing years.
• Yu Tu explained his conflict with Lan Xiao, his plans for the Ninth Army, and how he had secretly sent Lu Mi money, while Lu Mi began working with Ming Qiuxue to investigate Yan Mei.
• Yu Tu recognized that news about Simutan’s death could provoke Duke Otto to rebel, and Lu Mi and Ming Qiuxue traced the report to Yan Mei, who defied Elisa and remained under Lan Xiao’s guard.
