Today, I saw some readers saying that the protagonist's combat strength was too exaggerated, so I thought I'd address it. This will also set the tone for the rest of the book.
The protagonist was designed to possess the most top-tier spiritual body, cultivate the most top-tier techniques, train his essence, qi, and spirit alike, and receive the aid of heaven-defying treasures.
So inevitably, the protagonist would lean toward an invincible path, able to fight enemies above his cultivation level with ease.
Otherwise, even more people would probably complain: such an awesome protagonist, yet he was actually so useless. Like when the protagonist had just entered the Huayu Sect and fought a great battle against the sect's prodigy, Zhang Zhilong. Although he won, plenty of people still criticized it...
And the further one progressed in cultivation, the more this would be the case. After all, the Five Elements Thunder Body was a spiritual body meant for the great late stages; the higher the cultivation realm, the greater the boost in combat strength it brought.
Thus, the moment Ning Fa advanced to Spirit Transformation, his strength already surpassed that of ordinary Late Spirit Transformation cultivators. If he used a Void Refining-level divine ability such as the Grotto-Heaven Divine Ability, he could kill ordinary Late Spirit Transformation cultivators. This had already been stated in the story when Ning Fa first advanced to Spirit Transformation.
Although Gu Zun and Yuanzun had forcibly raised themselves to the Late Spirit Transformation level through special methods, they had only barely reached it and still fell short of true Late Spirit Transformation cultivators. So even when several of them joined forces, Ning Fa was still able to kill them all in one stroke with the Grotto-Heaven Divine Ability. That was not exaggerated.
