Taking Tasks in High Profile

Huo Hai would not touch the tasks on the Crystal Stone Board for the time being. At the very least, he would not touch them before breaking through to the Spirit Practitioner Realm. What he needed to do now was look through the pile of papers below.

Several thick stacks of paper lay on the table, every sheet a task application. The task objectives, completion requirements, and rewards were all written clearly upon them. Some had been issued by the Academy, while others had been issued by individuals.

The Academy worried that some people might use such tasks to transfer Academy Contribution in their hands. Therefore, personally issued tasks could never offer Academy Contribution as a reward. Only tasks issued by the Academy came with contribution rewards.

So Huo Hai tossed the personal tasks aside without even looking at them. Still, these tasks were sorted quite neatly. Most were personal tasks, but tasks from every region had been placed in their designated sections. Everything was clear at a glance, making it impossible to mistake the true difficulty of a task. Based on the region, one could easily judge how difficult a task would be.

Huo Hai shook his head. "Honestly, I thought these tasks would be divided into ranks. Isn't that how they were written in novels before? Why isn't there anything like that here?" Huo Hai seemed to have forgotten that this world had no English letters.
