Background

Xiao Nannan wandered the Eastern Wilderness alone for at least thousands of years without aging. She repeatedly lost her memories, had no known family or home, and was occasionally taken in by mortals before outliving them. Her unchanging appearance caused some mortals to fear and mistreat her 160 439.

In Yan Capital, the Yin-Yang Sect Saintess attempted to abduct the hungry, destitute child. Qin Sheng intervened, sealed the Saintess, fed Nannan, provided new clothes, and learned of her cyclical amnesia and isolation.
