A month later, aboard the Astral Express.
A "portal" stood open on the Express.
Several robots carried cardboard boxes back and forth. March 7th stood beside the portal, picking up box after box to check whether any of her packages had arrived.
This was the result of Morien establishing a Swarm Network on the Space Station.
With Morien's portal, even online shopping had become much more convenient.
Supplies originally ordered for delivery to Herta Space Station were sent straight into the train through this portal. There was no longer any need to get off specifically to collect them.
It was much more convenient than the Interastral Peace Corporation's delivery service. After all, they could not catch up with the Astral Express, much less deliver things out in space.

His phone chimed. Picking it up, Morien noticed a new friend request on his messaging app.
Seeing the username "Panning for Gold," Morien immediately guessed who it was and casually accepted the request.
"Hey, remember me?" A message immediately came from the other end.
"Oh, it's you, Aventurine. What do you need?" Morien typed back.
"Just chatting with a friend." Even through the text alone, Morien could imagine his slightly flippant voice.
