Only then did he suddenly notice Xingye and Ash charging up from below, taking the initiative to attack. The sight made him laugh.

"Oh? You're actually coming straight at me? Instead of running away, you're delivering yourselves to your deaths?"

Hearing that, Xingye replied calmly, "How am I supposed to beat you bastards down if I don't get closer?"

Rose waved his hand. Darkest Day Kyurem roared, and the Dynamax energy spilling from its body erupted, sweeping toward them.

But Xingye swiftly held up a Z-Ring and had Sprigatito leap into the air to unleash a Z-Move. Its Z-Power clashed with the Dynamax energy that had exceeded its equilibrium threshold, then was overwhelmed and detonated!

He had experienced this several times already. Back in the Abyss of the Asado Desert, he had even tested it firsthand, blowing Miraidon unconscious on the spot. But the circumstances were different this time—the Dynamax energy was coming straight at them!

He had plenty of Z-Rings in his backpack anyway, so he didn't need to worry about the effects of Dynamax energy for the moment. Even Calyrex was stunned by his maneuver.

Rose soon caught on, however, and simply stopped using Dynamax energy. When it came to raw strength, they would lose to no one. To him, the current Darkest Day Kyurem was the strongest Pokémon, surpassing all others!
