• A Soul Ring emerges after a Soul Beast is killed; the ring contains its energy, resentment, life force, and remnant soul. 6 16

• A Soul Beast's sacrifice may leave behind both a Soul Ring and a Soul Bone without requiring conventional absorption from a corpse. 96

Compatibility and Limits

• Obtaining a Soul Ring is required after a Soul Master reaches a rank bottleneck; Xiao Lin first sought one after reaching level ten. 4
• Ring compatibility with the Martial Soul is considered more important than age alone; an appropriate Millennium Ring may be more valuable than an incompatible Ten-Thousand-Year Ring. 15

Appearance

Before absorption, a Soul Ring manifests as a floating sphere or orb of colored light above a Soul Beast’s remains. Once attached, it circulates around the user or their Martial Soul. 6 16 31
