Alliance with Huo Yuhao

Snow Empress initially regards Huo Yuhao as a threat after discovering that Ice Empress has become his Second Martial Soul. She spares him because Ice Empress personally explains her decision and because killing him would also kill Ice Empress. Distrustful of Tian Meng's God Creation Plan, she intends to rely on her own cultivation instead 1.

Huo Yuhao changes her mind by offering information about Ten Thousand Year Profound Ice Marrow in exchange for protection and the Extreme North's friendship. She accepts and places a snowflake mark on his forehead, granting him free passage through her territory and a means of contacting her. After the marrow saves her from her cultivation crisis, she protects him, provides resources, and helps establish the backing that allows the Spirit Pagoda to grow 1 2.

She later admits that his knowledge of her background and the Extreme North's secrets initially made her wary. His actions eventually convince her that he means her homeland no harm 425.

Ten Thousand Years of Guardianship

Before withdrawing from public life, Huo Yuhao entrusts Snow Empress with the arrangements meant to endure his absence. She waits for their promised reunion and future pursuit of godhood. Whenever the Spirit Pagoda lacks a Limit Douluo, she personally protects its headquarters; the Extreme North faction also prevents any single faction from monopolizing the organization 2 83.

After accumulating 800,000 years of Soul Beast cultivation, she undergoes Human Form Re-cultivation. Remembering Huo Yuhao's warning about the vulnerability of transformed Soul Beasts, she arranges trustworthy guards, keeps his Soul Tools close, and never leaves the Extreme North Branch during the process 98 109.

Snow Empress City grows around the Spirit Pagoda's original headquarters. Huo Yuhao later considers its name appropriate because she watched over the settlement for ten thousand years and because naming the Extreme North's largest city after her reflects the organization's ideals 425.

Appearance

Snow Empress retains much of her original appearance after Human Form Re-cultivation, though Ice Empress notices that her former aloofness has softened into a more human warmth 83.

Personality

Snow Empress is proud, reserved, and fiercely protective of the Extreme North. Her concern for Ice Empress and her homeland makes her reluctant to abandon them even when her own tribulation approaches. Her authority rests on both strength and wisdom: the region's Soul Beasts, including other Fierce Beasts, obey her with deep reverence 1 228.

With Huo Yuhao, she is affectionate, teasing, and quietly attentive. She dislikes treating their bond as an exchange of favors and explicitly refuses to use gratitude to pressure him into romance. Accompanying and supporting one another matters more to her than imposing a particular label on their relationship 85 86 89.

Her composure is less reliable when affection is returned directly: Huo Yuhao calling her “Xue'er,” embracing her, or openly speaking of their future can make her blush. Behind that shyness is a serious cultivation ambition—she seeks a stronger foundation because she does not want to become unable to stand beside him after they reach godhood 98 178 395 432.
