Arc 1Wukong’s Transformation

  • Sun Wukong settled at the Ice-Fire Yin Yang Well, developed new techniques, and discovered Medusa living in the valley.

Arc 2The God Realm Legend Arc

Wukong strengthened his body and Soul Rings while publishing God Realm Legend, which began drawing readers and gathering faith. After reuniting with his Soul Beast friends, he refined Life Gold, gained a sixty-thousand-year third Soul Ring, and tested his new abilities against Golden Lion.

  • Wukong bought Whale Rubber from Old Wang, recognized a pitch-black piece as potentially Ten-Thousand-Year Whale Rubber, and refined the rubber while enduring its intense effects with Cai Lin's help.
  • Wukong trained to strengthen his body, reached Rank 20, refined the Ten-Thousand-Year Whale Rubber, and underwent a Golden Tier Secondary Awakening before forming a fifteen-thousand-year second Soul Ring.
  • Wukong wrote God Realm Legend, signed a publishing contract with Li Shoumin, and saw the novel gain readers whose faith began flowing to him.
  • Tang Yuehua and Xiao Rou read God Realm Legend and believed its ancient history might be real, while Wukong continued cultivating and collecting its profits and faith.

He returned to the forest, completed his fourth Soul Ring, and discovered that transforming with a creature’s origin could grant him its abilities and Destiny.

  • Wukong rescued Fourth Sister from Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong, but her injuries ended her hope of surviving the Two-Hundred-Thousand-Year Ferocious Beast Tribulation.
  • Fourth Sister chose Transformation and became a little girl, and Wukong brought her to Dragon Rising City to live with Xiao Rou.
  • Wukong trained with medicinal baths, published God Realm Legend: The Demon Child Descends, and attracted Qian Renxue’s interest in his stories.
  • Wukong returned to the Star Dou Great Forest for gravity training, then helped the Iron Triangle by killing a Golden-Beaked Sky-Splitting Falcon.

After his writings stirred the continent and drew Spirit Hall’s attention, he formed a three-hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring and demonstrated the power of his new Soul Skill seals.

  • Wukong discovered that his Auspicious Beast clones could stack their auras up to a limit, and the Silver Dragon King ordered Di Tian to give him the Ice-Fire Dragon Kings’ origin and a guardian.
  • Wukong defeated Dugu Bo at Yin-Yang Spring Valley, killed him, and gained the Jade Phosphorous Serpent Emperor’s origin before accompanying Di Tian to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
  • The Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ True Spirits empowered Wukong’s staff and gave it the Ice-Fire Domain, while Wukong trained at the Lake of Life and later returned to human society with Zi JI and Cai Lin.
