Manifestation and Acquisition

Spirit Rings appear over the remains of defeated Spirit Beasts. After Tang Feng kills a seven-hundred-year Wind Wolf, yellow motes gather above its corpse into a yellow Spirit Ring; he leaves it to dissipate because it does not suit either the Life Blue Silver Emperor or his requirements for a second ring 6.

Tang Feng remains highly selective while searching for rings. He rejects the six-hundred-year Bloodfang Boar, the five-hundred-year Turtle-Shell Rhinoceros, and the three-thousand-year Ghost Shadow Leopard because their age or attributes do not meet his target 9.

His second ring is obtained from the critically injured Blazing Sun Golden Falcon. The ring’s violent Soul Power and lingering spiritual will assault his body and consciousness during absorption, but his forged physique, mental strength, Life Blue Silver Emperor, and right-leg Spirit Bone allow him to endure the process 10.

His third ring comes from the Thousand Illusion Demon Vine. The Blue Silver Domain identifies the beast’s true life aura through its illusions and suppresses its mental remnant during absorption, making the process smoother than the previous Ten Thousand Year ring absorption 22.

Appearance and Observed Coloration

Spirit Rings manifest as hovering, rotating bands of condensed Soul Power.

• Yellow — Tang Feng’s first revealed ring is yellow; a separate seven-hundred-year Wind Wolf ring also manifests yellow 6 10.
• Black — Tang Feng’s second and third rings are Ten Thousand Year rings, first formed from the Blazing Sun Golden Falcon and Thousand Illusion Demon Vine respectively 10 22.
• Crimson-red — Tang Feng’s fifth and sixth revealed rings are described as Hundred Thousand Year level 38.

Known Soul Skills

Star-Binding Annihilation

A second Soul Skill granted by Tang Feng’s Ten Thousand Year Blazing Sun Golden Falcon ring. Nine massive Destruction Vines emerge from multiple directions, develop star-patterned markings, and crush inward simultaneously 10.

• Can seal a large area with main vines and proliferating secondary vines 16.
• Restrains targets by blocking escape routes before the nine vines contract 17 26.
• Can be enhanced by Jeweled Gauntlet critical hits 16 26.
• Its vines can be destroyed by overwhelming Soul Saint-level attacks, rapidly consuming Tang Feng’s Soul Power 37.

Blue Silver Illusion Slaughter Array

A third Soul Skill granted by the Thousand Illusion Demon Vine’s Ten Thousand Year ring. It operates within the Blue Silver Domain, using plants to establish an illusory realm 22.

• Creates false positions and multiple identical images of Tang Feng.
• Conceals the aura and form of Destruction Vines within false scenes.
• Disrupts an opponent’s perception and judgment of Soul Power.
• Can hide real vines behind illusions; one such vine catches Dugu Bo’s wrist during Tang Feng’s test of the skill 22.

Absorption Requirements and Limits

• A Spirit Ring must be compatible with the user’s Martial Soul and intended development path; Tang Feng refuses rings that are too weak or unsuitable rather than absorbing them for an immediate breakthrough 6 9.
• High-level rings impose both physical and mental danger. The Blazing Sun Golden Falcon’s remaining will attacks Tang Feng’s consciousness during his second-ring absorption 10.
• Tang Feng reaches Level 33 while still holding only two Spirit Rings, but cannot fully wield Soul Elder-level power until acquiring a third ring 21.
• The Blue Silver Domain can suppress a Spirit Beast’s lingering mental remnant, reducing the difficulty of ring absorption 22.
