"Geralt!" Caitlin's voice rang with anger.
He had dared disturb her beauty sleep. This had better be worth it.
"I'm in Storybrooke," Geralt said.
Storybrooke... Caitlin immediately caught the key detail. "You took that job? Wait, I heard a Grimm took it."
"You might not believe me, but I happened to run into it. I just traded blows with the monster and fired my gun. The police will probably be here soon."
"Got it," Caitlin said resentfully.
"Also, the bounty from my last job still hasn't come through," Geralt reminded her.
"Relax. The Gates Group isn't going to stiff you over that little money," Caitlin said irritably.
"Heh. The Winchester Family loves it when people try to stiff us," Geralt said with a cold laugh. "Then we get to charge interest, lost wages, and a fee for teaching them a lesson."
They had been bold enough to get free labor out of a Demon. Who else would dare leave them unpaid?!

Nancy gazed at Geralt, her eyes sparkling.
"If you have questions, ask," Geralt said, feeling strangely relieved.

"Geralt Winchester. A Demon Hunter, though I haven't earned my official Demon Hunter License yet," Geralt said.

"Demon Hunters are people who hunt supernatural Weird Monsters that harm humans. The Demon Hunter Guild issues the licenses. People without one can still take jobs from the guild, but they can't exchange points for special items."
Geralt continued, "You want to ask about the Demon Hunter Guild, right?"
"Mm." Nancy nodded obediently.
