Background

Ye Wan lost her parents while young. She entered cultivation under an expert’s guidance and trained at Swordcry Mountain, while neighbors in her secluded home valley cared for her younger sister, Ye Yun. 20

She became Liu Ruyu’s youngest direct disciple in Swordheart Hall and earned a reputation for exceptional talent, beauty, and a distant demeanor. By the time she taught the outer sect, both her Internal Qi and External Force had reached the fourth realm. 7 28

Despite this reserve, she is a patient and conscientious instructor. She personally corrected the outer disciples’ mistakes, recognized Chen Fan’s unusual Internal Qi beneath his crude sword forms, and offered him a Swordheart Hall token for future guidance. 7
