Flames swept across the sky. A vast gash opened overhead, and a figure emerged from it.
The void closed again in an instant. Er Dongsheng looked up and realized he seemed to be inside a separate space.
The sky was gray and stretched beyond sight.
The place he had come from had vanished without a trace.
"Interesting. Time-Space Transposition? Or is this a Microcosm inside something?" Er Dongsheng struck the void. A Space Rift appeared, unleashing violent spatial energy. It seemed no different from usual and still connected to the space beyond.
"It isn't a Microcosm inside something. There's no enclosing barrier. So I was moved here through Time-Space Transposition?"
Er Dongsheng rubbed his chin, intrigued.
He had barely felt a thing. The instant he was sucked in, he arrived here; practically no time had passed.
"Yah, yah... waaah!"
Little Bei'er's babbling suddenly rang out, followed by loud sobs. Her cries sounded miserable but full of strength, so she probably wasn't badly hurt.
"Who upset that little terror?"
Er Dongsheng frowned and shot toward the sound.

Bei'er stopped crying and stared blankly at Baal beside her. Little Snake abruptly shrank and darted toward Er Dongsheng.
