In a desolate, shattered city, corpses lay everywhere and buildings had collapsed into gray ruins. One shadowy black figure after another roamed through the wreckage, as though searching for survivors.
This was the Fourth Region, a strange Barrier World connected to the Second Region.
The Heavenly Demon King and the Demonkin King had discovered this region together.
These "regions" were former Barrier Worlds. After the Triune Demon God had conquered the Northern Frontier, it became a base for the Abyss Demons. Countless demons and Destroyers came through it and, sheltered by the Magic Network, began invading other Barriers in droves.
The first to suffer was the Barrier Portal exposed by the Triune Demon God's earth-shaking strike. Over the past three years, the formidable Destruction Squad had occupied the entire place. Its inhabitants had been slaughtered, and everything else destroyed!
To hasten Demon God Baal's awakening, the ruthless Destruction Squad had scarcely allowed anyone to surrender. The Barrier they called the First Region had become a bloody slaughterhouse.
Countless Flesh Altars had been erected there. Mysterious Runes gleamed bloodred, while the Magic Network spread across them, using each altar as an intersection to form a vast, terrifying network.
These enormous Flesh Altars would provide endless Life Energy and even souls for the Three Demon Gods' transformation and awakening. Yet it was nowhere near enough!
Then the Second Region, the Third Region, and even the Fourth Region were discovered in succession!
Some had been hidden within other regions. Others had emerged as the Dark Underground World merged with the Northern Frontier and the barriers between them dissolved.
