Faint lines of causality lay hidden in unknown layers of time and space. No one knew where they came from or where they led.
Diabolo extended a finger and flicked it lightly, a faint smile appearing on his face.
"Let's see what you really are!"
Whoosh!
His scarlet figure broke apart. Boundless energy from time and space surged in, and he vanished.
After Diabolo left, a strange ripple suddenly passed through the vast Light Divine Pool. A pitch-black crack appeared in the sky and slowly opened like an eye.
Boom!
Countless pure-white energy feathers drifted out, floating throughout the Light Divine Pool as though probing for something.
After a long while, the unknown being behind the crack seemed unable to find what it wanted. It appeared a little puzzled.
The feathers vanished, and the crack slowly began to close, as though the being had given up its search. But then—
Chirp!
Less than a few seconds after the crack disappeared, a huge white eye abruptly appeared in its place. Its luminous white pupil rolled about, scanning the surroundings, before its gaze settled on the spot where Diabolo had vanished.
By then, the trace of his passage through time and space was almost imperceptible.
After a long while, puzzlement showed in the eye. The being seemed unable to make sense of it.
It seemed to have found traces of Diabolo's recent presence, yet could not quite understand them.
Roar!
Some time later, the unknown creature, having found nothing, let out a furious howl. Energy
