Background and History

Diabolo forms within a blood-red sphere during the sacrifice at Donnitz Academy. He emerges with a restored body and announces his dominion over time and space. Long sealed, he takes his place as the third member of the Burning Legion’s Dark Triumvirate beside Baal and Mephisto. The three have separate bodies but are, at their core, one person 477 478 540.

In the Wizard World, Diabolo forcibly links assembled Wizards to the Magic Network and gives them one year to make progress against the Sea Folk or face extermination. He later intervenes against the Sea Emperor Beast to save two commanders, whom he considers too valuable to lose. After a battle leaves all three Demon Gods sealed for three years, Baal and Mephisto help Diabolo break free and complete his Time-and-Space Domain. His awakening also unites the bloodline’s bearers as the Time-and-Space Legion 483 492 540 541.

Diabolo subsequently fuses Fear with his existing powers, projects Burning Hell into another plane, and uses the Demon Soul Contract to sacrifice his chosen “seeds” while preserving their spirits as demons. In the Abyss, he expands the Burning Legion’s territory and negotiates recognition of his Central Demon Domain after joining Baal and Mephisto against the Dark King Nicholas Cage. Diabolo is proud, theatrical, and eager to demonstrate his strength, but his threats often serve calculated ends. He saves commanders because his forces are limited, and he uses a confrontation with rival World Lords to buy Mephisto time inside the Land of Rules. His treatment of the Wizards and the people carrying his demonic “seeds” shows his willingness to sacrifice others for conquest 483 492 586 587 635.

His confidence has limits. Diabolo postpones exploring the Forbidden Abyss until he is stronger, and Abaddon’s presence leaves him unable to resist its pressure. He survives that encounter by sheltering behind a sacrificial array rather than confronting the Devil Master 508 626.
