"Another? There were earlier ones?" Diabolo asked, puzzled. Teachers loved a good student who asked questions.

"Of course! According to legend, the Abyss invaded the Great Universe countless times before. The invasion a hundred thousand years ago was merely the most recent!"
"You could say that ever since the Abyss appeared in the late Mythic Age, that powerful, evil, savage thing has never settled down. It keeps invading the planes of the universe, and even the so-called Abyssal Will has always been at odds with the Divine Realm!"
The Black Dragon Princess puffed out her cheeks and spoke indignantly.
"The Mythic Age? What's that?"
This was the second time Diabolo had heard the term. The first had been deep within the Seven Hells of the Luxi Anqi Plane, where he had learned of it from images left behind.
That was also when he had learned that the Myriad Worlds Convergence was coming.
"The Mythic Age? Legend says it was a place without separate planes or borders, where everyone lived together. The beings there were even stronger than today's God Kings!"
"Of course, that's only a legend. How could anything that powerful exist?"
The Black Dragon Princess waved her enormous fingers dismissively.
But though she spoke without thinking, Diabolo listened closely.
