The First Abyss Layer's portal—he forced his way through!
The Second Layer fell just as quickly, offering no resistance at all. What had troubled the Ancient Demons seemed no obstacle to Baal.
The Third Layer—
It was a strange world. If the Second Layer was an ordinary realm much like the Dark Plane, the Third Layer was an endless ocean, with vast landmasses set into its waters like stars.
Boom!
An enormous Sea Beast, hundreds of thousands of meters long, soared out of the deep and plunged back in. The splash rose thousands of meters, sending towering waves across the sea and wiping out the smaller islands nearby.
This was just a glimpse of the Third Layer: a boundless ocean world, in contrast to the landbound Second Layer and the Elemental World of the First Abyss Layer.
At the very center of the Third Abyss Layer lay its largest, most prosperous continent, known as the Heart of the Ocean.
According to legend, the Heart of the Ocean was connected to Shaliyeh, one of the thirteen Ancient Demon Lords. The most famous among them, the Evil-Eye Devil Master hated land and sky and loved the open sea.
He was said to be even stronger than Abaddon, the Nine-Headed Serpent Elemental Devil Master who ruled the First Abyss Layer. Shaliyeh possessed countless eyes; with a blink, untold ages, stretches of time and space, and even entire worlds would collapse!
And the Heart of the Ocean before them was linked to that Devil Master.
Of course, it was only a legend.
Now, a startling change came over that vast continent.
Boom!
The endless sky seemed to cave in.
