"The timing is perfect!"
"The Netherworld Gate is open. The Nether River has appeared, and the barrier between the two realms has stabilized. The age of entering the Underworld Palace has arrived!"
Boom!
Baal threw back his head and roared. His voice rolled in every direction as an endless aura of undeath poured from his body, building into a vast storm.
The storm swept across the Nether River, across countless skeletons and demons, before converging on the enormous black sun floating in the sky.
Whoosh!
The Magic Network voraciously absorbed Death Power. Patches of white appeared across the enormous black sun and slowly spread, but against its vast surface they were so small as to be almost invisible.
"Damn it! Who are you? Who are you? How can you withstand the corruption of Death Power?"
"Aaah!"
"I refuse to believe it!"
As Baal expelled the Undead Power, the Death God's black figure was dragged inch by inch from his body. No matter how the Death God struggled, he could only watch the body he had worked so hard to corrupt slip away.
Worse, he could no longer move. His enormous black Death God's Scythe, one of the Netherworld's three sacred artifacts, remained obediently behind Baal instead of leaving with him. Had Baal bound it by force?
"Impossible!"
"Nether Scythe, come to me!"
The Death God roared for his weapon. If he could grasp the Netherworld Scythe again, his strength would return.
