Konoha.
Kiba Inuzuka's home.
Hana Inuzuka and Kiba Inuzuka reported Tobitake Tonbo's proposal to their father and mother.
Kiba's eyes were full of anticipation.
A fantastical scene appeared before his eyes: he sat in the Hokage's seat while Akamaru, as the king of dogs, received the worship of a whole pack of dogs below.
That was why he had been the most enthusiastic about asking his parents to hire Tobitake Tonbo as a tutor.
"I see. Since Kiba is so eager, let's give it a try."
Although the Inuzuka Clan had no shortage of Jōnin, no one had that much free time to tutor Kiba.
Even as his parents, they spent more time apart from Kiba than together when it came to his upbringing.
They knew Tobitake Tonbo as well. He was the head of the Analysis Division, and his abilities were beyond question.
They just wondered why he had proposed becoming a tutor. Was the Analysis Division really that idle?
Or was he short on money?
Did he want to earn money tutoring?
He hadn't charged anything when he taught Hana before!
They couldn't figure it out, but they knew this was a good thing for Kiba.
They had witnessed Hana's growth firsthand. Tobitake Tonbo truly was an outstanding teacher.
"Awesome! I'm going to become Hokage!"
Woof~
Upon hearing that, Kiba and Akamaru sank into their own fantasies.
His parents were utterly baffled. What did becoming Hokage have to do with him?
In their eyes, the Inuzuka Clan simply wasn't suited to producing a Hokage.
Hana quickly pulled her parents aside and explained how Tobitake Tonbo had talked Kiba into it, finally bringing them to a realization.
They were deeply impressed. Tobitake Tonbo's teaching ability was even stronger than they had imagined; he had actually made Kiba this motivated.
