Hiramekarei vs. Daytime Tiger
What tough physical defenses. A pure taijutsu specialist?
Mangetsu narrowed his eyes at the sight, his gaze growing a little more serious.
He did not respond to Guy's declaration of youth. Instead, he swiftly formed hand seals. Shibuki vanished from his hand, and another sword sprang from the scroll.
Longsword: Nuibari!
The blade was exceptionally long and thin, its silvery edge almost invisible in the sunlight.
A steel wire, barely discernible to the naked eye, threaded through the end of its hilt. The other end had silently looped behind Guy the instant Mangetsu switched weapons.
With a flick of Mangetsu's wrist, Nuibari's wire snapped taut, tightening around Guy's neck and limbs from behind.
It moved so fast that most of the spectators could not even see what had happened. All they caught were a few slender silver flashes around Guy.
Guy did not turn around. Just before the wire touched his skin, his fist shot out, striking empty air to his right.
The shock wave generated by his punch compressed the air and knocked the wire half an inch off course.
That half inch was all Guy needed to slip out of the strangling net. An instant later, he shot toward Mangetsu like a green cannonball.
So fast!
Mangetsu's pupils contracted. He released Nuibari, letting it stab into the arena floor, while his left hand formed another seal.
Blunt Sword: Kabutowari!
The weapon resembled an enormous meat cleaver, its spine thick and blunt, relying on sheer weight to deliver lethal chopping blows. He swung Kabutowari up and brought it down at Guy's head as he charged.
"Roar, my youth!"
Bellowing with passion, Guy charged straight ahead without slowing in the slightest and slammed a fist into the flat of Kabutowari's blade.
Bam!
A tremendous boom erupted.
