The bourgeois family, the uncivilized Amoonguss

Unova's traditional culture differed greatly from that of other regions.

Thousands of years ago, during ancient times, Unova's kings lived in castles.

The castle culture they brought with them had flourished for millennia. Even now, amid towering skyscrapers, people could still see all kinds of ancient castles throughout Unova.

For example, the castle where coronation ceremonies were held in the games, or the Relic Castle buried deep within the desert.

The Bourgeois family villa was a castle that had been passed down for over a century. It stood west of Undella Town, surrounded by a beautiful field of sunflowers.

Before the castle was a vast courtyard. A fountain statue stood at its center, colorful lights hung from the trees along the walkways, and all kinds of food and drinks had been arranged across the green lawn.

"Wow! This place is so pretty!"

"So much food!"

Trainers from all over the world had gathered there. Quite a few had lost themselves in the extravagant atmosphere and brought their Pokémon over to the tables to feast.

Cross's head immediately began to ache when he saw the way they were eating. His throat bobbed as he swallowed. "These guys..."

Hu Yang said with a laugh, "If you don't go now, they'll eat all the food."

Aside from Hoenn, Cross had only been to Sinnoh in the future.

Everything before him was local cuisine full of Unova flavor. He had never seen or tasted any of it before.

To hell with looking like a Champion! There was no one here besides his master who knew he was a Champion, and in front of his master, he could always be a child!

So Cross threw off the restraints of his identity, completely forgot that he was a Champion, and ran over to enjoy the food
